(From YWAMers in Ukraine) – The Waiting World blog gets so many updates on the situation in Ukraine that we can barely keep up with them to re-post them here. But PLEASE continue to keep that nation and the people there in your prayers! Here are two examples of what we received this week in two days…
“Please, pray! All of Ukraine is under the air raid warning now. Air-defense forces
are working hard but we need God’s protection. It may be the expected massive
missile attack.”
“Update: Over one hour has passed, the attack continues (we’ve had at least three
waves of missiles). We’ve had numerous hits in different parts of the country,
including Kyiv. Lots of infrastructure objects damaged. We may end up without
electricity for a while. Please, keep praying.”
“All regions of Ukraine go into emergency blackout mode. Half of Kyiv is left
without electricity. Kyiv, Lviv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv,
Odesa, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Poltava, and Cherkasy regions suffered from the
missile attack. And the air raid warning still hasn’t been lifted.”
“Our part of the region had no electricity today. We had power for only 2 out of the past 12
hours, and no electricity at the moment. The cell phone reception and internet connection are
down but we get a weak signal once in a while. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.”
