As the world now knows, tensions between Hamas and Israel have reached the critical stage following the events of October 7. We at The Waiting World are not taking sides in this as we have many, many Muslim friends, but, at the same time we believe that all the innocents must be protected, and we believe there are still innocent people on both sides.
The best thing we can do is to pray for peace and protection of all the innocent people who are caught up in this tragedy. Pray for the rescue workers and missionaries, especially foreign workers, who are remaining to minister both in Israel and in Gaza. Pray that the entire world is not caught up in this conflict. Pray that a peaceful solution can be reached soon. And, finally, please pray for peace in America, as this conflict is causing much division in a nation already divided politically.
