(From Pray4SouthAsia.com) Ramadan is divided into 3 parts (called “Ashras”), each lasting ten days. Day 1 to 10 is the first Ashra, known in Arabic as Rahmah (or Mercy). Day 11 to 20 is the second Ashra, or Magfirah (Forgiveness). Day 21 to 30 is the third Ashra, known as Najatt (Salvation). Each Ashra encourages spiritual growth and deeper devotion to Allah.
- Pray God leads all Muslims to see how the God of the Bible offers mercy to sinners.
- Pray that many come to a place where they encounter Him personally. Muslims around the world have dreams and visions of a “Man in white” as we pray!
- Pray they experience authentic mercy, forgiveness, and salvation in and through Isa-al-Masih (pronounced “Eee-saw -al- Maseeah”), Jesus the Messiah.
