From Paganism in Bible Times to Fastest Growing Evangelical Church In the World

“The Cradle of Civiliation”, Babylon, was located in modern day Iraq. It was also called the “Land of Shinar” in Genesis, and was the location of the Tower of Babel (where God confused the languages in a culture where people thought they could be an “equal” to God). Later, it was known as “Mesopotamia”, the land between the Tigris and Euphrates. The earliest “post-flood” civilization developed in Iraq. Abraham, the patriarch of both Jews and Muslims came from a city in Iraq.

But today, Iraq has one of the fastest growing churches…if not THE FASTEST growing churches in the world! Jesus is appearing to Muslims in dreams and visions, and we need to pray for new believers there as persecution is on the upswing!

BUT THE NEWS GETS EVEN BETTER! READ OUR NEXT POST ABOUT THE “JESUS REVOLUTION” GOING ON IN IRAN. (Coming at 10pm MDT on September 10.)
