Here in America we traditionally take this first weekend in September to honor the men and women who work hard to make a better life for their families…factory workers, nurses, postal workers, farmers, the servers at your favorite restaurant, those in the tall high rise buildings who labor as administrative assistants, janitors, etc. So it’s customary to thank God for their labors and take this Monday off for picnics, baseball games, and going to the beach. The Labor Day holiday is considered the end of summer and the beginning of the fall season (even though fall officially starts on September 22nd). But praying for the lost of the 10/40 Window… where more than 3 billion souls live who have never even heard the name “Jesus”… doesn’t stop! It can’t stop! This summer we, here at The Waiting World, have been brainstorming ideas to both improve this site and expand our readership. Some of these changes may come slowly, but our goal is to bring God the glory in all we do. Making connections with missionaries all over the world we collect stories, statistics, and memorable quotes to help you mobilize your church, small group, family and friends for global missions. We will be posting 3 days a week, starting now! Stay tuned and please help us spread the word!
