(From Voice of the Martyrs, vom.org) When Inn placed his faith in Christ in January 2022, village leaders gave him a choice: He could abandon his Christian faith or find a new place to live. The teenager remained faithful to Christ and was forced out of his home.
Inn stayed in touch with his mother, Phin, and with his sisters. A year later, they too came to faith in Christ … and they too paid a high price. Phin’s husband kicked her and their young daughters out of the house with nothing but a few pieces of clothing.
When front-line workers learned of their situation, VOM provided the family with basic needs and built them a small house where they could live and worship together again. Instead of being discouraged by what they lost, Inn has been inspired to grow in Christ so he can become a minister of the gospel. Our brothers and sisters in Christ who live in hostile areas and restricted nations pay a high price for their faithfulness to Christ, giving up homes, possessions, livelihoods and even loved ones. But, like Inn, so many joyfully testify that their faith has grown through what they have suffered.
You can share the joy of fellowship with them today by remembering them in prayer and supporting them through giving. Your gifts help meet specific, immediate needs of Christians driven from their homes, providing aid such as
- shelter
- blankets and bedding
- food
- medical and hygiene supplies
- Bibles
We invite you to stand with our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ like Inn and his mother, Phin, as they remain faithful to Christ — at any cost. Please click this link:
