What the Bible is to Christians, the Qur’an was revealed by the angel Gabriel to Muhammad. Muslims have been taught that the Bible is also God’s word, but corrupted, and therefore unreliable. The Qur’an has altogether replaced the Bible. While Muslims believe that the Bible is good, most do not read or study it. In recent years, many, including Muslim teachers and leaders, have met with Christ as they read the Bible.
Prayer: Father, help Muslims to recognize that Jesus is the Word and God (John 1:1-5). Also, cause them to hunger for the Truth and encounter it through Your living and active, written Word (Hebrews 4:12). Please grant them access to Your word made available through audio devices, apps, and printed Bibles.
